Background
Laura Reines, CTO and Onboarding Manager at Juniper Holiday + Home, first entered the short-term rental industry as an owner. Advice to Other Hosts
Laura cautions other operators to be careful and choosy with their tech stack. At one point, Juniper had 25–30 different tools in play, many of them overlapping or working against each other. The result was confusion for the team and extra costs without real value.
Her advice is to grow a tech stack wisely. Avoid adding systems just for the sake of it; focus on the ones that clearly save time or drive measurable results.
